I was born and raised in Schenectady, New York. I am the first born of three girls to hardworking parents, who believed education was the way to move up the ladder of success. I attended school at Albany College of Pharmacy, Union University and earned a B.S. in Pharmacy. Becoming first female in my family to attend college, I felt the responsibility to make them proud.
I began working at various positions in the medical field of pharmacy in community, clinical and corporate capacities, as a retail pharmacist, hospital pharmacist a pharmaceutical sales representative for E. R. Squibb, now Bristol Myers Squibb.
I married my high school love and moved to the Woodstock area in New York, and proceeded to have four children. We relocated to the San Francisco Bay area and then to the southwest in Tucson, Arizona for my husband’s job at IBM. After retiring from pharmacy I became a jewelry designer of my own company, cb designs. I was then asked to become a private contractor for Trinity Diamonds. I expanded this position to sales, management, marketing and public relations and continue as an administrative liaison to its president.
At this time I am proud to be Director of the Welcoming committee and part of the Core leadership of True Women Tucson , a non-profit that mentors to others . I have previously been on the board for Entrepreneurial Mothers Association of Tucson and for the state board of this organization as well.
My current position is the Vice President of Public relations of Poh Koh Mod Furniture and Design. I am excited to be involved with the infrastructure of this expanding corporation and look forward to its bright future. I report directly to its founder, Sonia Hodgin, and am responsible in implementing and developing relationships both in the community and with our business partners. I strive to build Poh Koh Mod into a global corporation with widespread clientele with integrity, vision and depth. My goal is to please the client and assist in a win-win for each partner in our business developments. I will continue to expand my knowledge and expertise in these fields in order to fulfill these goals personally and professionally.
